There are a lot of places that are quite ordinary but also very famous because of one thing - movie scenes. There are couple places that you should visit:


1. The 72 stone steps before the entrance of Philadelphia Museum of Art are very famous place. Maybe some of us don't know the main reason why do so many people come here every year. The reason why this stone steps are so popular is the movie "Rocky". That's why this steps are still known as "Rocky Steps". More info

2. London King's Cross railway station is also a famous movie place. This station is in the Harry Potter books and is the starting point of the Hogwarts Express. Also a music video of Pet Shop Boys was made there. So for all the fans of Harry Potter of Pet Shop Boys this is the right place to go while traveling in England. More info

Ghost stories are very popular among some of us. If you want to visit a place that has ghost story and see with your own eyes you can use our list below


1. "The Rock" is the first place on our list here. The prison Alcatraz, San Francisco is a place that has ghost story to tell. There were many who tried to escape form this federal prison and fail. Their ghosts are still here searching for a way out of the rock. Today Alcatraz is a museum so It is available for all the tourists who want to take some photoes and maybe solve the mistery. More info

2. We have already talked about this place -  The White House (see Historic sites). There are stories that some presidents have never left this house and they were seen and heard. That means that 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. is not only home to the current President  of the US, it aslo is home to several former presidents ( such as A.Lincoln, A.Jackson ) who occasionally decide to make their presnces their, despite the fact that they are dead. This makes the White House perfect destination for all that enjoy in ghost stories. You may have luck to see a ghost of a former US President...

3.The Tower of London, one of the most famous and well-preserved historic buildings in the whole world may be the perfect place for all that are interested in ghost stories. The main reason that make people belive that this place is haunted is the huge number of executions, murders and tortures that have taken place within its walls over the last 1,000 years. The most well known ghost that leaves there is Ann Boleyn (Henry VIII wife). This place can be just the attraction you have been searching for. More info 

4. Eastern State Penitentiary has become a  favorite destination for ghost hunters as well as the public at large since It has been opened to tours. The walls of this building (build in 1829) have seen the misery of many people (over 1,700). That makes this place a last destination for many lifes and some of them are still walking here, hoping to find the way out or the way back a mistery that can be solved if you visit this place and have some luck... More info

5. The Queen Mary a ship that has been transfromed into a hotel is quite haunted place. Knocking and banging on the pipes and ghost's of a young girl are only some parts of the ghost stories conected to this hotel. For all ghost hunters is a perfect place to spend couple of days and maybe see some of the spirits that make this place famous. More info

1. The Big Apple, New York City is the most populous city in the U.S. and the center of the New York metropolitan area. What can you find there? New York is immportant finance, commerce, media, culture, fashion, research, education and entertainment centre. 2. Paris (City of light) is the capital and largest city in France.  By some stats Paris is the most popular tourist destination in the world, with 45 million tourists annually. Eiffel Tower is maybe the most popular place in Paris and its main symbol. I know that many people especially from the U.S. dream to go to Paris. Why should you wait? 3.Rome the capital of Italy is e destination that we have already talked about ( Historic sites). Rome's history spans over two and a half  thousand years. The facts speek for this city and I can only give you an advice to visit this timeless city. More info

4.London the capital of England and the United Kingdom is the largest metropolitan area in the UK and the largest urban zone in European Union by many measures. 5.Rio de Janeiro or just Rio is second largest city in Brazil and 26 in the world. About the climate Rio is on a strip of Brazil's Atlantic coast and has a tropical savanna climate. 6. Who wants to be a movie star? Well a lot of us have this dream of becoming a famous film star. Well the best place for that is of course Holywood. That means that you will have to go to Los Angeles (LA). There are a lot of other things that you can do in the City of Angels for example you can go and watch a Lakers game or just enjoy in the night clubs there. 7.We are still on the West Coast with another famous city. San Francisco is a place often seen of movies and place with huge history. 8. We have been on the West Coast for too long time and I thing now It is time for a city but a little further from the US. That is Moscow. This city has been on the Earth for so many time so It must take a few day of every person life. Spending time here can be real fun. You can have great parties but also lear a lot about thi history of Russia and USSR. More info

9.Hong Kong is the most famous city in Asia. There live over 7 million people and you can find absolutely everything there. It is a modern city that has all the things that a moder human will nead to have fun (see the picture and you will know what I mean). 10.Berlin. Why Berlin is in our Top Ten? Well the capital of Germany deserves to here because Germany deserves to have a city in this list. So many things in the history are conected with this city and today all the countries in Europe depend on Germany and Berlin. Historic Sites

  If you want to travel and you want to explore the history of diferent cultures then there are some places that you should visit.

1. Kokino - Macedonia is an important archeaological site and a megalithic observatory discovered in 2001. The fact that it was discovered in 2001 makes it interesting for the people that want to explore every new discovery that is conected with the past. 2.There is a historic site that is very famous and that is Stonehenge.Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county Wiltshire. Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large stending stones. Archealogical evidence indicate that Stonehenge served as a burial ground from its earliest beginnings but there are also a lot of conspiracy theories about this place and who actually build it. 3.When you are talking with your friends about Egypt you have to mention the pyramids. In my opinion when some building is used as an association for a state you should visit that place especially becaouse we are talking about a state that has glorious history. 4. You want to learn more about the Roman empire. Is there a better place to go than Rome the timeless city. There is a place in Rome that is just not possible not to mention. The famous Colosseum is a place that is important to visit if you are planing to go to Italy. 5. Roman Empire has huge place in the World history and can provide as another great historic site that symbolize the power that the empire had in that time. Pantheon is a building in Rome, Italy (meaning of the name: "to envy god"), commissioned by Marcus Agrippa as a temple to all the gods of Ancient Rome. That means that in some way this place was the mose holly place in the Roman Empire. That makes it a perfect destination for all the lovers of Rome and by the way you can still visit the Colosseum. More info

6. The Great Wall of China is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in Northen China, build originally to protect the northen borders of the Chinese Empire against intrusions by various nomadic groups. The Great Wall stretches from Shanhaiguan in the east, to Lop Nor in the west. I tought for a long time what to say to you about this place and I thing that the Great Wall of China speeks for himself more that I can tell with my words here. 7. The Acropolis, Athens, Greece is one of the best known acropolis in the world ( there are more than one). There are more than one in Greece but The Acropolis of Athens is commonly known as The Acropolis without  qualification. 8. Dubrovnik (Ragusa), Croatia is becoming more and more famous touristic place in recent years. It was founded in the 7th century. It is also famous of being a city-state in the 15th century. The old part of the city is still a huge aтtraction today visited by thousands of people every year. In 1979, Dubrovnik joined the UNESKO list of World Heritage sites so it is a place that must be on your list of places to visit during your next holiday. Hotels and more info 

9. Waterloo is a good place to go. The battle of Waterloo where  Napoleon was beaten is the reason why this place has such a historical value. If you are interested in this things go there and see the place where the great emperor has fallen. More info

10.This place does not have the historic value of the other historic sites we have mention but It is important because It is the home of the most powerfull men on Earth for more than 200 years. The White House build between 1792 and 1800 has been the home of every US President since Jonh Adams. Every American should visit this place and for all the other It is a great tourist destination. Mythical destinations

1.When we are talking about the myths we must start from the centre of the culture that is conected with the birth of the myths - the ancient Greek culture. The most important place for the people that had lived then is certainly the God's mountain - Olimp. The mountain itself is a special place. It was a holy land for a long period and every stone there has a story for telling. Today there is not a person in the world that have not heard about the Olimpic games. The games that unite the whole world have the name of this mythical place. This is a destination that must be visited by all the people who enjoy in places that are full with all kinds of mythical stories about the past ( wars, education, traditions etc) or people who just want to know the reason why the Olimpic games are the only thing that can make the whole world as one...

2.There are few that have never heard about the famos war Trojan war (between Troy and Greece). There are even less people that have never heard about the Trojan horse that has ended the war. Odysseus was the man who has come up to the idea of building the famosus Trojan horse. Odyssus was the king ot Ithaca an island located in the Ionian sea, in Greece.
